چکیده
We provide an analysis of complementarity via a suitably designed classicalmodel that leads to set inequalities can be tested by means ofunsharp measurements. show that, if the measured statistics does notfulfill it is equivalent lack joint distribution for theincompatible observables. This illustrated path-interference duality ina Young interferometer.

Variational Inequalities , Complementarity Problems and Pseudo - Monotonicity
It is well known that variational inequalities are systematically used in the theory of many practical problems related to ”equilibrium”. The equilibrium is an important state considered in Physics, Engineering, Sciences and Economics and even in Biology, [5], [37], [38], [24], [56]. When a variational inequality is defined on a closed convex set, which is in particular a closed convex cone, in...
متن کاملEmpirical Bernstein Inequalities for U-Statistics
We present original empirical Bernstein inequalities for U-statistics with bounded symmetric kernels q. They are expressed with respect to empirical estimates of either the variance of q or the conditional variance that appears in the Bernsteintype inequality for U-statistics derived by Arcones [2]. Our result subsumes other existing empirical Bernstein inequalities, as it reduces to them when ...
متن کاملSmoothing methods for convex inequalities and linear complementarity problems
A smooth approximation p(x;) to the plus function: maxfx; 0g, is obtained by integrating the sigmoid function 1=(1 + e ?x), commonly used in neural networks. By means of this approximation, linear and convex inequalities are converted into smooth, convex unconstrained minimization problems, the solution of which approximates the solution of the original problem to a high degree of accuracy for ...
متن کاملExponential and Moment Inequalities for U-statistics
A Bernstein-type exponential inequality for (generalized) canonical U -statistics of order 2 is obtained and the Rosenthal and Hoffmann-Jørgensen inequalities for sums of independent random variables are extended to (generalized) U -statistics of any order whose kernels are either nonnegative or canonical.

A general and an arbitrarily efficient scheme for entangling the spins (or any spinlike degree of freedom) of two independent uncorrelated identical particles by a combination of two particle interferometry and which way detection is formulated. It is shown that the same setup could be used to identify the quantum statistics of the incident particles from either the sign or the magnitude of mea...
